SWP no longer supports The Denver Rescue Mission

Strategic Wealth Partners is privileged to support several non-profits in our community who are dedicated to elevating community.

When deciding who to serve, we weigh our decisions in part on how the core values of a non-profit align with our own. We are strong supporters of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. Along with many of you, we are aware of certain discriminatory policies that were implemented at Denver Rescue Mission — policies targeted exclusively toward members of the LGBTQA+ community.

While Denver Rescue Mission openly stated that they will be removing this language from their policies and guidelines, we are concerned that such policies were originally considered, and believe it to be telling about the hearts and values of the current DRM decision-makers.

Because we stand fast in our internal assessment that passing judgement upon individuals based on sexual orientation or identity is neither just, nor inclusive, we have decided to end further support of Denver Rescue Mission.

Homelessness and addiction affect thousands in Colorado who still need support. We continue to seek new ways to support and elevate those in our community who are in need.
